How do elements that are displayed when scrolled impact SEO?

We are wanting to implement Animate.css and Wowjs on our site and were concerned about the SEO impacts. Basically when the page is loaded, if the element is not within the viewport then the HTML tag (i.e. div tag) have a style="visibility: hidden" and once the element is within the viewport it will change to have style="visibility: visible".
Would having the style="visibility: hidden" negatively impact SEO?

I did a little more research on the issue queue for Wowjs and found that it is indeed impacting site's SEO. See https://github.com/matthieua/WOW/issues/196 here.
Wowjs sets the element to be visibility: hidden inline and the crawler cannot see the element as evident from using Fetch as Google from Webmaster Tools. We will have to find an alternative to Wowjs so that the solution we come up with does not set the visibility: hidden property but still applies the animation.

Personally, I do not have any issues with this method. It is quite similar to having content in an accordion and I see it used quite a bit on the web.
There is a minor chance that Google would not value this content as high as content shown on load. But with the mobile first index updates hidden content is becoming more acceptable.You can consider positioning it off screen with CSS so that it is more present in the code - this is commonly used for accessibility. However, I really wouldn't be concerned with using animate.css. I don't know as much about wowjs unfortunately. See: https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/accessibilityseo-friendly-css-hiding/

Location of body text on page - at top or bottom - does it matter for SEO?
Hi - I'm just looking at the text on a redesigned homepage. They have moved all the text to the very bottom of the page (which is quite common with lots of designers, I notice - I usually battle to move the important text back up to the top). I have always ensured the important text comes at the top, to some extent - does it matter where on the page the text comes, for SEO? Are there any studies you can point me to? Hiding content until user scrolls - Will Google penalize me?
I've used: "opacity:0;" to hide sections of my content, which are triggered to show (using Javascript) once the user scrolls over these sections. I remember reading a while back that Google essentially ignores content which is hidden from your page (it mentioned they don't index it, so it's close to impossible to rank for it). SEO downsides to minimalist (copy-light) homepage?
Curious for your thoughts on this - are there any SEO downsides to not having any substantive content on the home page (big background design)? We would obviously have appropriate page titles and link structure, etc. Our guess is that if the home page doesn't have much copy, that odds are that other specific pages will tend to perform better for non-brand search terms, which seems OK. If people DO find the homepage, it would likely be a brand search or an ad referral, in which case the minimalist, non-copy design would be conversion-friendly. Does that theory hold any water? I suppose a middle ground might be a single H1 line unobtrusively on the page. Thanks in advance for any insight, guys! Sincerely, Stephen

Should I Remove URL extentions for SEO?
We are having a developer design our website with Magento. I noticed the main pages such as About Us have no file extention in the URL. But the product pages have a .html file extention. I was once told to remove the file extentions. Are there benefits to removing the .html file extension and if so, is there a way we can do this using Magento?

We are looking into amending a website we are working on to try and combine 2 or 3 current pages onto one page. Does using Wordpress Multisite have any negative SEO impact?
I manage multiple websites in Wordpress and the idea of managing them all under one Wordpress install is very attractive. Are there any dangers SEO-wise to doing so? I know that all of the sites would live under the same IP address, but that's not something I'm really concerned with anyway because I don't do a lot of inter-linking between the sites.
