Blogger /blog Folder level redirect setup using .htaccess

We have a blog currently powered by the free blogger.com website.
We have set it up as blog.example.com
we wish to seti it up as example.com/blog
how can we do this using .htaccess file? we understand how to update htacess, but we don't know what code we should enter to achieve what we want
our website is hosted on Apache servers with plesk control panel

Hi,
So if I've understood correctyl you want to redirect your blog.domain.com to domain.com/blog?
If that's so you have two possible options.
1. Maintain the old site URI structure. In this case you want to make a 1by1 redirect:
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.domain.com/blog$1 [R=301,L]2. move everything to a compelte new system. In this way it'd be impossible to maintain the old URI so you may want to, create dedicated redirects to you r best urls and use the follwoing
RewriteRule . http://www.domain.com/blog [R=301,L]the htaccess has to be placed in the root folder of your subdomain.

Hi there - I'm not a SEO so help would be appreciated! Moz is telling me we have a redirect loop but the URLs are the same. https://www.example.com/ to https://www.example.com/ Why is my homepage creating a redirect loop to itself? SEO advice on ecommerce url structure where categories contain "/c/"
Hi! We use Hybris as plattform and I would like input on which url to choose. We must keep "/c/" before the actual category. c stands for category. I.e. this current url format will be shortened and cleaned:

Hi all, I would like to ask you what's the better way to eliminate the slug /category/ form the wordpress category pages. I need to delete the slug /category/ to make the url seo frendly. Can you have a /sitemap.xml and /sitemap.html on the same site?
Thanks in advance for any responses; we really appreciate the expertise of the SEOmoz community! My question: Since the file extensions are different, can a site have both a /sitemap.xml and /sitemap.html both siting at the root domain? For example, we've already put the html sitemap in place here: https://www.pioneermilitaryloans.com/sitemap Now, we're considering adding an XML sitemap. I know standard practice is to load it at the root (www.example.com/sitemap.xml), but am wondering if this will cause conflicts. I've been unable to find this topic addressed anywhere, or any real-life examples of sites currently doing this. What do you think?

OK to block /js/ folder using robots.txt?
I know Matt Cutts suggestions we allow bots to crawl css and javascript folders (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNEipHjsEPU) But what if you have lots and lots of JS and you dont want to waste precious crawl resources? Also, as we update and improve the javascript on our site, we iterate the version number ?v=1.1... 1.2... 1.3... etc. And the legacy versions show up in Google Webmaster Tools as 404s. Double 301 redirect
Hi together, due to some technical reasons I have redirect (301) an existing link two times. Example: www.mydomain.com/root/site.html > 301 > www.mydomain.com/site.html > 301 www.mydomain.com/site_new.html Is there anybody how has got some experience like doing a double redirect?
