Is Disqus comments useful as per SEO?
We have some comments on each of our pages and its time taking to moderate them, so wanted to know if its beneficial in any ways for SEO?

Umar's comment is very helpful.
What they say in the Disqus FAQ, is that page owners can synchronize comments with their website and store them locally on the page. Thus they are crawled by Google and benefit both page owner and the guest.
It means there is a high chance that your comments are indexed and beneficial.

I don't think it will hurt you from a SEO standpoint as long as you are staying on top of comments ensuring there is no spam or off topic comments. I would make sure that all links in comments are nofollowed (but give yourself to manually remove this if the content is trustworthy) and that they are relevant to the topic.
These sorts of things can potentially trip spam filters in algorithms, so too much of these items happening could hurt your SEO. As long as you are top of it, you should be fine - if anything, it will show you have integrity in making sure your site is providing a valuable experience.

Without a doubt, Disqus is a great comment tool and it's really easy to integrate and manage. If you look at their FAQ section, they claims that, it is SEO friendly (https://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/1233994-common-questions-about-disqus).
In the past, Disqus was not friendly and you had to use Disqus API in order to get your comments indexed. But now, they have worked on this issue and it seems the comments are now easily indexed even if you're using the simple Disqus program.

Less Tags better for SEO?
I am currently reviewing my strategy when it comes to categories and tags on my site. Having been no-indexed for some time, and having many tags with just one entry I am thinking that this is not optimal for SEO purposes. This is what I am planning: Categories - Change these to Index, but only after adding a hundred words or so by way of introduction (see this example - https://www.besthostnews.com/news/hosting/a-small-orange-news/). With the categories I am thinking of highlighting key articles as well to improve link juice distribution to older articles that are important. Tags - About half my tags have only 1 entry, with a few more just having 2 entries. I am thinking of deleting all tags with just one entry, and trying to merge those with just two or 3 entries where it makes sense to do so. I will keep these as no-index, but I think this will mean more optimal distribution of link juice within the site. I would appreciate your thoughts \ suggestions on the best practices here.

How to re-follow using the WPSEO plugin
Hello, I unindexed numerous blog low quality blog posts and nofollowed them at the same time using the Advanced meta tab for the Yoast WPSEO plugin. I am trying to reindex them, which I figured out and can successfully do, What I cannot figure out is these posts will not return to follow status and remain nofollow. Trying to SEO a site that used Header Tags for Design
I am trying to SEO a website that was built years ago and uses Header tags for design. The site must have 25 and tags used for design purpose. Is there any way to work around this problem? Perhaps a code that tells Google to ignore these as Headers? The web designers say that they are looking to fix the problem sometime this summer but you never know if that means it a month away or years away. I really want to help this website but I believe that the Header tags are one of the reasons that his site does not show in the top 100 rankings for any keywords. I understand on site seo fine, as I have tweeked up my own website a fair bit. But I am thinking about doing Onsite and Offsite SEO for clients, as I have had a few request now.
